The Souls to the Polls event is on 10/27/2024. The event is a partnership between DISC, Temple Beth El of Boca Raton, Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, The Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County, Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, and Macedonia A.M.E Church.
Our goal is to stand shoulder to shoulder in fellowship, as the Black and Jewish communities of Boca Raton, and exercise our fundamental right to vote. All are welcome to this non-partisan event. Anyone who resides in Palm Beach county can vote, regardless of their normal polling place. We will have people available to answer questions on our amendments. There will be no promotion of any amendment or candidate.
Details are as follows:
Sunday, October 27th
1:30 - 2:30 - Speakers at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church including Wendy Link, supervisor of Elections
2:30 - We will march to the Downtown Boca Library
Water will be provided.
For anyone who does not want to or is unable to march, we will have a trolley available for both directions.
